Beef Up a Dud Bass Drum
Made a new video last night showing a way to beef up the low end on a bass drum that might not have enough junk for your trunk. This technique involves using a low-frequency tone generator and a gate. The gate is controlled by the original bass drum track which tells it when to "open", thus allowing the low frequency tone to come through and beef up the sound of the otherwise-dull dry bass drum track.
